Lost in Ireland

What possesses a 14 year old, indoor cat to make a break for freedom out a 2nd story window?  Sleeping comfortably, being fed and watered, all the affection wanted and more?  I know that I have all these things and I don't want to go anywhere.  Well, our beloved kitty and first "child" Tuna decided it was time.  On Thursday, he decided the opportunity to escape out via Rod's open window was right.  He left sometime between 4-5PM.  He then either walked a skinny ledge across our neighbors facia or just jumped (or slid) off the clay shingles and dropped the 10 feet to the ground.  We had an initial siting, but since then it has been quiet.  We've received a few calls from the posters put up in the neighborhood and even a text message recommending a Pet Detective agency that they said helped them.  For EUR 150, they would create a custom poster and place 50 of them in the area.  I printed ours out and enlisted the help of 5 or 6 neighbor kids.  For 350, they would do the above, plus spend 6 hours searching AND use a pet sniffing dog detective.  If there was ever a strategy doomed to fail with a lost Tuna, it would be sending a dog after him.

We're waiting for him to get real hungry and present himself to a person(s) with the compassion to help a skinny cat not used to being outside.  Please say your prayers to St. Anthony to help find our lost bed warmer.

No one in the family is even thinking about the money spent to fly this pecan-sized-brain feline to Ireland so he could be with his family.  No, not even Joe is thinking about that!!
